Academy 1/35 Tiger-I early version...

The knurled nut goes behind the muzzle break, you can see a small space for it in your pic. I would have to look at my refs for the PE as I cant remember off the top of my head. Check here and click picture to maybe get some hints

Thanks James! That's the right set & it looks like I'm missin' a couple parts. :blink :bang head

Please check your references when you have time James, I'd really appreciate it. Back when I built tanks, we didn't have all these goodies!!

The Aber set looks almost the same so this might help.

Looking good Ed ... I suspect that barrels set was a knock-off from the over seas country (PC) ... trying to be nice with my typing ... nice job so far Ed ... never knew you was a armor modelers ... I must admit I'm very impressed ... and you found the focus button on your camera ... great looking photos ... :good: :salute :soldier

Thanks for stoppin' by Gerry! I think you're right about it being a knock off.. Been awhile since I last built a tank (early 80's) Might have to do up a companion for this tho... thinkin' a 1/2 track of some sort. (cargo truck or mounted gun)

I just gotta remember to check the "focus setting" button before I snap pics.

Got some work done yesterday & last night. Rattle canned White in the interior of the hull so that when I shoot the other colors it has something to bite on. cleaned up a bunch of parts since there's a fine mold separation line on most of them & I tore up some roadwheels as well. Pics will be posted later. Gotta take some... :drinks

Ok y'all, here's some pics...
Added some Flat Black to the engine to break up the Metallic Gray.

That would be your standard "Transducer Confliculator (trademark)"

:rotf

Maybe someone really knows, wonder if it's not something to do with cooling system, oil cooler plumbing maybe?

I've been looking at some cut-a-ways and still cannot figger out what it is!! http://www.alanhamby.com/cutaway.shtml

Interesting. :drinks Thanks James Still haven't found the answer :bang head The cylinder object strapped to the bulkhead Looks like it is between it & the shock. I think, Gerry was looking on the deck at the torsion bar....

Yeah I know nothing about All that stuff ... I'm still reeling from my 1 to 1 project ... too much stuff ... I see what your talking about now ... I don't see it in any of James photos. It maybe a reservoir for the Hydraulic fluid ... or a tool box maybe... sorry don't know ... :idonno :hmmm :woohoo:
