and there's no excuse in it I got to have this done to do the display I have in mind so it's first out of the gate in the new shed setup.Wow , this one is long in the tooth!
John that's exactly where I screwed up before, doubting the build instead of making adjustments. I should have mounted the blade further forward just like in the real world. They had that option. If your front idlers are where they are on the track frame pictured above, and the diagonal brace bearing (1) is concentric with the center of the sprocket at the back of the track assembly, then either the dozer frame is too short or the trunnions that the dozer frame attaches to are located too far back on the track frame. Line up the cable sheave that is on the dozer blade with the the sheave on the frame up above the radiator with the blade in the up postion and so the sheave and blade still clear the radiator, that will tell you where the trunnions need to be to match the dozer frame. As you can see on the track frame pictured, there are a number of places the trunnion can be bolted on.
The clutch runs in oil, so unless the clutch is being worked on you would not see the flywheel on the D-7.
I've seen worse. Like everything once you get a grove on you just go with it.Nice work here Boss! Them tracks look a bit complex to assemble.
Eh, not like those kits were a challenge to build John, I might get two and do them both at the same time. Red Grosvenor's House and Black Magic just like on race day.Buuuummmmmerrrr!
