WNW OUCH!!!

Well true to their word WNWs has increased their priced $10 to $30 each. Looks like the single seaters went up between $10 and $20 while the duals went up between $20 and $30. I have been fortunate to have been able to stock up this past month and this morning decided to think about 3 more duals. Decided not to because I'll bever build them all and when I looked this afternoon it would cost me $70 more than this morning. Factor in exchange and that a whopping $95.00 Cdn more. So from now on I'll be choosy.
Sorry for anyone who was thinking about it but didnt or couldnt get them at original price.

I know what you're saying James. Hard to commit to spending so much. Look around at some prices and wonder what you're getting in that box to justify the cash. At least with WNW you know what you're getting.

It's down to the performance of the NZD against the USD over the last few months aswell. Been a big worry for exporters here, and there aren't too many of them anyways.

I jumped up and ordered 3 of the single seaters last week. Still want some of the other bigger kits, but it is just going to have to wait. Getting ready to start weeding on my stash, as it is way too large and there are some kits I probably won't ever build. It is time to send them to where they will be appreciated.

Now I really need to quit spending on stuff. Someone slap me!

Went and took a look at the new pricing during lunch. Yup! Ouch pretty much says it. The only ones that it looks like didn't change were the Large British Seaplanes which were already quite pricey.

Have the SE5 Hisso and the 2 Phalz fighters heading this way soon with the old prices.

Have to agree the price hike at WNW has meant I will probably only buy at Christmas etc, worse yet is the knock on effect of those who only buy them to sell on ebay at insane inflated prices!

Got the 3 kits in the mail yesterday, The Se5a Hisso, Pfalz D.III and Pfalz D.XII. Now it is time to just pay the bills, and get them paid off.

One hates to price increases but these kits have been bargains from the get go in quality and detail and bang for your buck. Even with the price increase you can still pay more and get less from other companies.
