Decided to detail the tail rotor by drilling out the hub and using a rod for the shaft. On the kit the tail rotor shaft glued into a retainer that was suppose to be the gear box an to spin with the tail rotor. It's not supposed to do that so I glued it to the proper place and inserted a small metal tube to receive the shaft. A smaller part will be used for the tail rotor on the back side of the gear box for the control cables. the hub will be further detailed with bearing cap and pitch change links. Gary

Made the tail rotor bearing cap from a Japanese bomb fuse. Sill needs painting. Added some detail to the hub also. Gary
 
Saw the final pics in the "Completed" thread. Fantastic! I can't help but visualize a pair of stretchers strapped to the sides and a red cross painted on there.....straight outta M.A.S.H. :laugh:
