Thanks to all, I appreciate the feedback! Here's the first coat of latex rubber to cover the wire armatures. The smaller tree is for this build, the bigger one will have foliage and is for my Luchs build. I'll wait a couple more hours to apply another coat.

Neat idea, use to be we'd put tape around that. The rubber stuff will look a lot more natural.
