A little update to this. I was able to sort out the gap. I razor sawed the front off and that took care of part of the problem, then mounted the gun cover flush with thback and then beveled the lower to match the top more closely up front. Not very scientific but it keeps with my "not gonna bust my balls on an aircraft" SOP.

A terrible picture but also started matching wings, looks to be a real knife fight in the future.

Anything before that, you had to read build reviews as some were nice but others challenging. My issue is with their Retro Heavy kits which are crude kits with excellent aftermarket but the price is very high. The Hybrid kits seem to be nice but I don't understand the need for that approach.

Hear, hear! More recent eduard kits seem very popular amongst european modelers. Proximity to the source may figure into it. I tire of hearing all about the "new" Mustang or Me-109 kits. How many is enough of any one subject?
