Salonwagen Sal 4U-37a der DR (Scratch)

They have solid shaped rod also. I'm sure you have access to it but if not, I would be glad to send some to you. In fact, if you send me the dimensions I'd cut to your needs as well.

Oh my God!
Thanks my friend...
We can do one thing.
I do the bogies in my home, I do one review with them and if the bogies don't answer I send to you the measures of the structure with my address... Ok?
This has turned into a personal challenge... But sometimes it is necessary to ask for help...
Thanks for all Moon Puppy...

Yago.

We'll have to figure out how to mate the styrene with the brass. That may require some Scalehardware stuff.

Here for you Yago, glad to help in some small way. :mpup

The structure of the first bogie is finished...

It was something obligatory, I tested placing it under the coach in his position of anchorage to see if it was lasting well or if the same problem was repeating itself. This one was the result...

And already put ... I began the second bogie...

Thanks for watching this work.

Some advances in the bogies of the coach...
With the help of the computer, I planned the lateral pieces of the bogies and immediately afterwards I stamped the design on sheet of 0,4mm of Evergreen.

Every side of the bogie is formed for 3 caps, which are stuck between yes later the pertinent perforations are effected...

And this way it would stay under the body of the coach...

Still work stays ahead and to reinforce the anchorage of the bogie to the body of the coach.

New advances of the Salonwagen...

After 1 month and two weeks and after having managed to weld the rods of brass the past weekend with the help of a friend of the modeling association, yesterday on Saturday I dedicated the evening to planning the hollows where there would be placed the pieces of subordination of the axes in the two bogies...

Once done this I stuck the supports of subordination of the axes and placed the axes.

The result is the following one...

The following thing will be to be worked at the absorbers (springs) and other details that compose the two bogies. I hope that you like.

See you soon.....

Entirely amazing! The diorama base is a perfect compliment- and the perfectly-organized workshop visible in the background gives me the perfect clue as to your flawless execution of your modeling. ;D

Cheers, Maestro!

Yago, so sorry we missed your previous update, hate that when it happens.

Question, where did you get such detailed drawings of the railcar?

jknaus, piase, sharkmouth and moon puppy... Thanks for your words about this work...
Moon Puppy, all plans were downloaded from internet (the originals).
The plans of salonwagen were modified with Photoshop to print them with industrial laser print machine to 1:35 scale.
The plans of bogies were downloaded from internet only just.
If you need anything about this, send me one PM, ok?

Is awesome that this work is seing enjoyed for us...

Thanks for looking this!

Yago.
