Nicely done! It's a shame to paint it, huh? Now if they only made brass bazookas...

Korean Sherman

Bob can make one. Brass tube, brass rod, strip platic, tooth pick to carve into a couple of handles. Piece of cake

I wouldn't get it as they need to represent live tracks, something the weight of the metal tries to undo. Also, one must be wary of the bent end connectors and tooth since they are attached to the pad. These are to be used around the sprocket, idlers, plus the first and last set of roadwheels. Mixing them up with the straight sets will cause the broken track pin (dead track) look.

see Terry's review for a way to handle it if you decode to get them:

Yes, I know these are T-49 tracks...

That's why i was asking, didn't know how may pieces make up a track link. If they did it like those, which I used on the last Sherman, I'll pass, just too many moving parts to be a single piece. But I thought the ones I used turned out OK. Just had to note where the turned links were.

Still not happy with any of the options out there. Guess I'll have to go with the Kasen(sp)

Funny, I never found Fruils to be so intimidating... :fencing MK, now that is a different story!

it's not the fruils I fear. It's the AVFClub stuff and the Kasens. Just have to sit down and git'er done.
