Korean Sherman: Done

Phil I wouldn't be against a figure here. I haven't seen (havne't looked hard) one that fits yet. Find the right one and I know who can hold the camera. ;)

There are some top figs for 35th scale being made these days, these ones look real good.

Ah yeah, Need someone who looks like they hangin' out during summer time.

Thank you Randy and thanks everyone for commenting. If anyone sees a figure that fits this scene let me know. (y)

I do have one regret. The kit came with a spare .50 barrel I was planning on installing on the back of the turret. I lost it..

Looks like the real thing! Sorry, wrong forum but... it's true!

Anyway, no need to regret the stowed .50 Cal as crews often covered it with canvas when placed on the rear turret (stowage) pintle. Shermans were issued one heavy machine gun and I see you placed it where it would do the most good in a defensive battle.

If you insist on the stowed MG (or you want it for a later project) do as I have done and cover the Tamiya set M2. The shape and proportions are correct and none of the missing details will be seen once covered. I do believe I have a spare too.

Sorry for not commenting sooner. Too busy and will be until after my birthday next month.

Regards,

NP Saul, I wasn't going to stow the entire .50, just a spare barrel. I figure they sportin' this much ammo they may have taken the effort to grab a spare somewheres. But since there's really no shot of a spare in the reference photo, it's no big deal.

Why is it the wrong forum??

Only just read through this thread.

Absolutely superb project, Bob. Anyone can see that you've poured your heart into this one. A model to be proud of. Simple as that.
