On spring break from school now, and the weather hasn't been so spring-like here in capital land NY, so I have been watching the Artemis II crew and modeling-- got a base coat on the Malta Valentine, working on the cockpit for the WnW Sopwith Pup, and just started the new Tamiya Chaffee...

My son is graduating from Siena University in Loudonville. I have been going back and forth for over four years. How close are you?

That's not so far actually....38 minutes away from me...I'm just a few miles away from the Saratoga Battlefield for reference.

Well, in a few weeks, we are visiting him again and he wanted to go to the Saratoga Battlefield! I believe I posted some images for the military museum, the one with the jeep using its headlight flipped inwards as a work light. I wasn't ready for the selection of books and walked out wishing the wife wasn't staring at me so much!

I sense the "War Dept" sometimes has issues with your book habit.

Well, my library has thousands already. Deals were good though. It seemed it was from an estate sale.

Well when you nail down a date, let me know and we can meet up if you wish.

So growing up, my kids weren't really into sports. Coming from just south of the Canadian border, hockey night in Canada was always my jam. Fast forward to this past Olympics and my daughter Abbi became a huge fan of the US Women's hockey team and when the Olympics ended, we both became fans of the PWHL...with her growing to love the Montreal Victoire. We've been watching the Walter Cup final series together with Montreal and Ottowa in it...was a great way to work on the Chaffee and enjoy some hockey.
