CAD is a hard thing to pick up and you've decided on a complex project. Are you going to a 3D printing service like printapart.com. It's a really cool process and worth the money. I've used them for a 24 lb cannon barrel before - cool stuff.

I had to do a double take on the photo.... They got creative for sure - deal with what you have not what you need. Your build is really good, great paint and finishing.

Try railroad shops. They may have some larger RR scale items that would work.

I second the Jaguar's What's Cookin' set - I've used it and it's pretty good. Versitile poses. The down side is the one guy standing, his hands on his belt are a bit stiff.

Overall a nice build. It shows quite a story in a small setting. It emotes more than just the close quarters.

That's a great conversion. There is no question about the story it shows. Well done. Nice weathering on the pants.

Re:Terry's M113 "LETS MAKE TRACKS' "MAKE CAMP" Great details in this project. It shows you put a lot of thought into the project and it's not just a bunch of 'stuff' thrown around a M113. Good job.

Nice thread, great references and it's nice to see a 1:1 subject shrink into a model. Nice figure conversion too.

The heads are nicely done, the right one looks young and has attitude. I can't quite tell, so it may be done, where there right index finger meets the faust, make sure it's 'rolled' or sanded under and not a 90 degree deal. Looks really good so far.

I like the concept of the souvenir hunter diorama. You've got some great concepts and ideas.

This Wespe came out great, the subtle touches are what give it life and keep you look at it for more.

Wow, scrolled down this thread and saw the expected stashes and benches and such and then bam... a full on 1:1 reference collection. Great stuff! As for the reasoning -how can you argue that. You can't go wrong with matching colors from an original. Thanks for sharing.

Great surface work on the Sherman. The detail of the PE is nicely done. The jacket is worthy of casting. Try sculpting another one and cast the second so you have the original.

Overall really nice. Great vehicle, great building. If I may, I would critique the steps, they look too pillowy and rounded. If you could flatten them out a bit and make them a bit more worn looking, that part would be great. All in All, if I have to go to the steps to offer a critique, that...

Great vignette/diorama. The name really says it all. It builds the tension and the cat just lays it all out there. Are you done, or is there more to come?

Nice details, it tells a totally different story with the ladder and tools. I like it.

Really nice. I like the modifications you did. I personally like dark edges on bases to differentiate the base from the subject.

Nice job so far. Great story, good components. Are you going to seal the gaps in the pillbox with any 'mud'? Some of the gaps look a bit big (workable).
