I cut that out & deviated from the construction, I added extra studs to sides of all windows ... this is the way to make it look right ... but will cost me to run short on lumber ....

So the front is on, I cut this back area of the roof at a angle for a roof truss ...

The gable sides broke off transporting then to work & back so extra work was done to brace the house square ... funny thing life emulates miniatures...

So we have the front & sides on ... Now to do the fire blocking inside & start to install different items for the Sta. I don't think there would be a cash register as this sould just be a poor 'ol boy like Gomer running the Biz ...

Yes I'll just leave them with the fire blocking in ... kinda strange about that, it must supposed to be kinda cheaply built as back in the thirties gas was probably a penny per gallon ... the owner made His money on fixing flats & mechanic work ...

Thanks Terry ... I need more lumber ... I scale over built ... Must be the Carpenter in Me ... :rotf

Looks good to me. I always wanted to build a model house from architect plans. Plumbing wiring everything.

Thanks Terry if you build in G scale I think the 1/2" equals a foot is about right, now I don't know the size of doll houses, but I think they make scale plugs & sockets for those ....

The Thirty's Gas Station evergreen Kit/Scratch

My mom was into doll houses for a while. They are 1/12th scale. There is all kinds of stuff for them in that scale.

That's what I was thinking ... a bit too big ... I have some small table & chairs that run on Batteries ... I'll see who makes them ... :salute
