Military Bulldozer X3

Military Bulldozer X2

Hey Pup,

Like your fittings for the fuel lines, I wimped out and just ended mine between the heads/ valve covers with simple fittings. After the hood went on I really can't see the endings anyway :idonno

Speaking of the hood, I had no room for part 48 when I put the hood on. Did I mess something up?

Really like following along with your build :mpup

I held off part 48 till the hood was fitted, since it didn't have a very positive locating tab I didn't want it to be in the wrong location. I also saw that the filler cap/pipe for the pony motor gas tank was not called for in the instructions but it's drawn, you should not fit it before you fit the hood.

Another thing i'm going to do on this one, I didn't do on the previous. I'm going to build up the tracks and suspension completely before attaching them to the frame. May even have them painted, tracks and all. I found a build blog I found on AMPS that worked it that way, looked far easier to work the tracks than with it all attached.

So where's your WIP shots Mr. ? :smack

My plan to beat the tracks into submission.

I realized building new tracks were not making any difference in how they were going together so I'm going back to the ones that are already made. Treating them more like link and run type tracks. Now to figure out how best to paint them. :facepalm

Looks like you figured out how to knock them into doing what you wanted Bob! Looking forward to more! (y)
