You might want to take them up on that replacement track offer, you might change your mind after you finish this one and go back to the first. They were kind enough to offer, go for it. (y)

I've ordered some nuts and bolts for this to up the game some. I'm going ahead and getting some other sub assemblies done, not necessarly in build order. I will be doing the suspension and tracks differently, think it makes better sense than adding the tracks last.

Pictures later.

Might knock out something else in the mean time.

I think the engine is sitting better on this one than the first one. One thing I did was leave the fly wheel off, it mates into the transaxle but it's very tight fit and may have been out of tolerance. The fly wheel is not but once built will be totally hidden so no need to put it there unless you leave the access panel off on the floor board.

Now...

Might knock out something else in the mean time.

:popcorn

When you're ready, boss.

Ian.

Let's git'er done Ian, no point waiting. Don't really need a startup photo for this one, just git'er started.

:pilot

See ya at the Wesendorf Memorial.

Second time should be the charm there Bob! I liked what I saw the first time around, and your trials will definitely be an aid when I dig my tractor version out for a build.

Of course you know my AMS Cuttee-n-Choppee syndrome. :facepalm Can't seem to leave well enough alone.

Engine is actually sitting better this time, think it's because I left the fly wheel out completely and it bound up against the transaxle pushing the engine more forward. The oil pump/filter system is going to get some nut action, also the fuel injection system, just as soon as I figure out when the fuel lines go when they leave the pump. Think at this point I'll start to paint.

Nice work Bob,

Jeez there is a lot in the engine , to some it may be a weathering dream for a dirty engine . :popcorn

That's something I'm looking forward to Mike, you look at the original photos they were not all that grimy but they sure are dusty.

Well if you've ever been through an inspection ... You would know the Dozer must be clean ... You can't have a dirty dozer in the army ... Dust OK ... but at the end of the day before the IG comes in ... :woohoo: :soldier

No nice job on this on MP ... Do it like the last one only better ... but remember as a modeler you can't be your own worst critic ... Nice progress she's looking good ... (y) :ro: :dude
