Ready for the Russian winter...

Master at Arms
...or at least a 1/16 Northeast version. ;)

After seeing White Wolf's Tiger dio, I got me an idea. :woohoo:

Might as well give myself an advantage at the next battle day this Winter. Based on his ref photo and a Jentz drawing I found, I built a plow for my Tamiya Tiger.

Here's the ref pic:

And my rendition in brass:

I mounted it through the towing eyelets just like the real one, one side has a spring loaded pin for easy removability:

I'm going to add a little detail and paint it up, but so far I've pretty happy with it. It plowed well on the porch, here's a quick vid of it on the shop floor:

Oh man that's soo cool! Can't wait till you get snow, I want to see that thing blast though a scale snow bank!

Nice bit of metal work there. Really cool seeing this plow. I think I want to try one too. :D

Jeff (Ausf) lives 20 minutes North of me so he should have a little heavier snow that have! How much snow? OK, ice & snow? Enough that my snow thrower's control cable snapped and whipped my shoulder! I have to continue with shovels until I find the time to visit the Sears parts store to pick up a replacement.

Regards

Yeah, the snow right now is probably over the turret roof, I guess scale over 10'.

Then of course, all the stuff around here appears more like the surface of the moon with paw craters due to this guy:

One year old Labs can cover a lot of open ground.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Here's the only other info I could find on it, but it was enough to figure out the rough dimensions:

Bob, he's waiting for food, like every other Lab on earth. We find him just sitting at the table at any given time, it's really bizarre. Even if the chairs are pushed in, he'll pry one away and sit.

Mine has a couch...and my lap from time to time. :facepalm

Oh, you'll find him on any comfy surface, horizontal or otherwise. The strangest is he likes to lay across my shoulders on the back of the couch like an overstuffed mink stole, drooping his head down my chest, eventually snoring. If the four of us are watching a movie or something, he'll just stretch out across all of us.
