USMC Uniform Colour Okinawa 1945

Hello all

USMC Green/Grey

I wondered if any of you had any good tips on putting together some paints to create the uniform colour

Ive had an attempt at it but looks a very cold greengrey so Im wondering if I sould add some more fleshtones to it to warmify it up a little bit

I supposed I should really take photos so you know what the heck Im on about LOL

Two years ago I did a diorama on the pacific and I used these colors for the uniform of the marines
I hope that it serves you

All References Colours are VALLEJO except (AC-: Andrea Colours)

American (Green Bluish)
Color base: AC-56 (20%) + 976 (20%) + 900 (40&) + AC-59 (20%)
Ligths: Color Base + 986 + 845
Shades: Color base + 965 + 950


American (camouflage uniform) and Hull
Color Base: 837 (35%) + 977 (65%)
Lights: color base + 837
Shades: 977 + 983

Camouflage stains
greenish blue stain: 893 + 988 + 5-10% 951
Green stain: 881
Dun color stain: 818+981
