Thanks Guys,
Don't get me wrong I love the Archer decals it's the time we spend placing the placard tech plates and details on the instrument panel , there is a certain amount of time churned up with applying the decal,flat clearing and glossing .
I look forward to the challenge :hmmm
The worn leather look is a series of combination coats of Humbrol enamel, Vallejo acrylics and then highlights with Humbrol enamel .
On the last coat I got the finest of wet and dry sandpaper and lightly scuffed back the top layer to reveal the underlayer of Humbrol satin .

Thanks for the info on the leather. Neat idea, basically you're actually scuffing it up like leather.

Ha ha , no worries with Archer transfers ,fantastic product been using them for a few years and all good.
It is the after market companies like Archer which really look after us and I thank them for it.
The italerie decals did not work on the PT and went to Archer , never look back

Mike This thingie Just plain Rocks ... I had to go back a ways to see where I had last commented (lost internet)... ... on the pen wash thanks for the recipe :drinks ... ... I've been using a black ink & future mixture ... But that Highlights the primed areas on some of my Gaming figs so I can paint them better ... Nice leather work I hope you make the big Show down under ...

Inbetween changing jobs in the next few weeks so I'm going to be hauling a$# to finish this huge project.
