Not to complain but I'm sort of surprised no one had any thoughts concerning my combining two painting steps. :idonno

Eh you'll get it sorted. Or at least you better! :smack
Nice one Christian ... Eliminating a step is great ... I'm still kicking around the fact that you & MP & Iron Mike were all together in one place ... and didn't feel a disruption in the force ... Your blue-tailed fly is looking very good ... :woohoo::dance
Looks mighty fine Christian!![]()

As to the EZ line, I suspect it is some kind of elastic polymer, thus you are probably correct in that a gel or something to stain it would work better.
I must get some of that EZ line ... been wanting to try it for a while ... the bird is excellent Chris ... very good job paint & detail work ... John Deere sounds? ... :idonno![]()
:dude
I've seen it curl up with CA but only if it wasn't under stress. It generally takes CA very well, never tried to paint it, not sure how that would hold up over time as the paint wouldn't have the same elasticity.
But it looks great Chris!![]()
