I've added the lifting points to the lookout turret. also there are six filled in holes on the top of this turret. I'm not sure yet what they were but I added them as well. Hopefully they will show a bit more when paint gets on.

The holddowns on the rear of the fenders for the four jacks were made from stretched sprue. The turned down style exhaust tips are on too. The heat shields for these are shorter so it was a bit more work than I thought. The tool holddowns on the front of the fenders don't appear to be on Nivernais II but I'm leaving them anyway :evil:

Thanks for the links James. I've poured over Photo's on that site and wish I could read French as I don't see a translate option for it.
The two links are interesting cause the frontal pic of Nivernais has the narrow fenders. The second of Nivernais II although not a frontal shot appears to have the wide one's. The color/camo/markings diagram of this tank supplied in the Tamiya kit shows Nivernais II had wide fenders. I wonder if Nivernais was rebuilt into Nivernais II or just two different tanks.
The little bit of French I could understand was the whole crew of Nirvernais II was captured.

:woohoo: Not trying to rush you Tim, just looking very much towards the painting stage. That vehicle lends it's self to some crazy weathering. Especially the streaking on the sides, which I'm curious to see how you replicate it.

Rob, So am I :laugh: The bis's appeared to have been very hard on the paint jobs hope I can pull it off. I did get everything primed in a preshade of black today so things should move along now.

Finally started putting color on. I built up layers of the base coat over a pre shade of dirty black and have started putting on the green camo. These are very thin layers of paint. It's a start, still a long way to go.
