1/35 M18 engines?

The Zod

Did anyone,or does anyone make an engine and compartment for the Academy M18 tank destroyer? I see that Verlinden has an
exterior update set, that includes the engine deck grills. But as the grills will be see through,I need something resembling
an engine for it.

I am going to be building a what if variant of the M18. I guess if worst comes to worst,I can always use an M4A2 engine
compartment.

Royal Models sells a set of mufflers, reference 346, for the R-975 radial engine (an M4A1, not an M4A2, engine):

Many thanks for the info and links. Not sure why I typed M4A2. :gogo It looks like the muffler part will be the biggest part
that will be seen through the grills.

I stuck the engine from the Hobbycraft 1/32 scale Wildcat in mine. That exhaust hung me up. I put the thing away. Now :hmmm

I thought I had posted some of the build here :idonno well the pictures are here in the gallery,on the third page in armor
