Is the reduction gear housing (at least I think that what it's called) on the front of the motor supposed to be aotake as well on Japanese aircraft?

Thanks for the help
Mike

No idea how you would get that color using the two Tamiya's listed . :idonno

Guess I could be wrong . Cheers, Christian B)

Sorry my mistake must be the thinner fumes :gogo

It should be XF-23 NOT 25!

Seatbelts in a Zero?

Seems uncharacteristically protective of the pilot. :D

They look great though.

Nice belts . Well worn seats .

How much dirt could possibly accumulate in a seat ?

Cheers, Christian B)

Very nice seat work Piet ... On the accumulation problem ...I guess it would depend on if the zero pilot's say the famous last two words ... :rotf

Update :
Glued the fuselage to the wing ,

Masked off the canopy and sprayed it Vallejo black,
Sprayed some grey on the seams to look for mistakes ...none found :pinch:
This is to be the best fitting 1/32 plane i ever built so far ......... but as for all the moving parts i would say no, it is not as if i am gonna play with it

Fuselage and wings are airbrush with enamel silver ,

Canopy is done with Vallejo silver .....Why?

:eek:ldguy Well if there is any bleeding of Acrylic paint under the masking tape i can Always clean it up with a tooth pick and acylic thinner ,let the tooth pick soak in water for a few days so it gets softer.

When al the paint is cured i'll buff up it with a anti static cloth to a nice smooth and shiny surface .

Never thought of buffing with an antistatic rag. Neat idea! :pilot
