1/32 P-38M "M" for madness

well, I'm calling the tires done. Went back over them with some more black/grey and I like them the way they are. Now I'll finish the wheels and one more piece of the puzzle will be done.
On a side note, as slow as I've been lately, it will be very slow for a week or so. Tomorrow morning at 6am PST, I am having Cataract surgery done on my right eye, and will have a patch on for a few days. So I may not chance screwing something up while wearing it. Wish me luck, guys !................Harv

Tires look fine Harv, Paul told me you've been under the weather. I was going to rattle his cage today to see about you. Good luck with the surgery, we'll be here when you get back. :coolio :zen :zen :zen :zen

Damn, Harv! Me too, but I only have to wear the patch at night. Best wishes on a speedy recovery! (y)

Hope yours went well, my distance vision improved greatly, but can't focus up close. :eek:hmy: :idonno

Looking forward to the finish here! :ro:

I'm just the opposite, my up close seems to be better. Actually better all around. I'm going to try and get the wheel hubs done, hopefully by latter today...........Harv

Another small update. I have been putting this off for too long. Broke the nose gear "fork" links some time ago, and agonized over fixing it. Bought some .005 evergreen rod, and punched out a couple of small disc out of thin sheet and glued together. I'm not real happy with it, but it will do. What do you guys think, leave it or redo it again ? Let me know guys..........Harv

Looks good Harv, but if you do redo it, maybe some brass rod would be better. More strength (probably not required though).
James

One more thing. Forgot to post awhile back. The nose radar is done. I used gloss black with dry transfers, then clear gloss coat (2).............Harv
