I am trying to make some time... it is why I am considering cutting corners on detailing it as I have more than enough to build a real one! :D

The rear anchors (on both sides) are visible, even with the seat, so they must go. Simple job to glue thick strip from below to locate the cockpit securely. Other items need to look separate and are indeed visible.

My joy comes from pushing my limits as to what I can replicate, the "see and copy" part. After detailing, then it is the markings. I enjoy the scratch-building and detailing the most.

The problem with so much PE is their using flat metal to represent items that are either tubes or stand out more. So, I end up correcting the correction set or detailing the detail set. This is only a portion of Eduard's step one. Eduard provides three of Part 14 (rudder cable rollers) but four are needed in reality. Eduard decided to only provides what is visible (2) and one spare. the red octagon is a hole underneath the pilot's seat (visible in some photos) through which the rest of the control cables feed through to the rear of the aircraft:

Since I train the surgeons, I get their kit :D No, none of the tools are used... but they are of the disposable kind as the reusables are quite pricey.

You lucked out, I didn't post the photograph of the eye with the scalpel in it to help relieve the pressure from blood build up. :D

Oh please do... Ophtalmological surgeries are so interesting.

How come you train surgeons? In what specifically? My curiosity has been awakened.

Quite boring actually. I train them on the documentation software of the electronic medical record. I am a credentialed trainer as well as a certified systems analyst for a few programs.
