A Dual Project Updated January 18th, 2017

Bob :notworthy Great progress, it are startin' to look like somethin' real. :good:

I am glad to find a fellow planner-doer-person. Though, in my case it's more like plan, plan, plan, start,
refigure the plan, get all the nonessential parts in perfect alignment; only to find the plan is off by "that much" and the parts need revision. This, accounts for the variance, which means the major important components are never going to fit together with any of these other parts.
It was such a simple, cool, idea in my head. :facepalm
The total downfall, I'm convinced, was its exposure to the harsh light of day.

Well, gotta tell you, I am finished with these non-modeling projects! This sounded like such a great and simple idea when it popped into my noggin, but it was everything but!

At least it turned out reasonably well, I think?

Here is the final set of photos. I will now begin photographing the entire museum and put it in a new thread today or tomorrow, then back to the never-ending diorama!

From the side.

On the side poster cases, I added this shot of the theater where I got the name. This was taken in the 1940s, when I was a kid, and it was downtown Springfield Missouri. It was demolished in 1950 to make war for a department store. I've never forgotten that place. It was where i became acquainted with my favorite cowboy, Roy Rogers!
