Re: WINGNUT WINGS DH9a WIP"UPDATE #3"

Saw one of these kits at AMPS but it was a bit more than what they were selling them for on the website...when I went back later to grab the SE-5a, it was gone so not meant to be then ;). Hoping to save up for one soon :). Your work here is inspiring me ;)

Re: WINGNUT WINGS DH9a WIP"UPDATE #3"

Mike, why pay more when you can get it direct with free shipping??

Re: WINGNUT WINGS DH9a WIP"UPDATE #3"

I agree Bob-- that's why I spent all my money buying Mig stuff from Rick Lawler and Verlinden goodies from Joe Hudson and the gang ;)

My wife and kids just talked me into letting them get chicks to add to our menagerie...that ought to be good for a model or two, eh? I would really like to see them come out with a DH-2 or an Eindecker...love those early war kites with all that engine showing...it just begs for detailed painting...

Re: WINGNUT WINGS DH9a WIP"UPDATE #4"

Thank you everyone for you kind words. My hands have not been idle this weekend. I have added the seat belts and started the engine with the ignition wire yet to come. So here are some pictures of the work so far. Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.

Nice work. The cockpit looks great. I really like the leather and the nailheads. Are the seatbelts photo etch?

Re: WINGNUT WINGS DH9a WIP"UPDATE #4"

It's working for me but the rest should probably step up . I''m struggling with the Hasegawa landing light covers fit on this B-25......They're supposed to be great ? ? ?
