Panzer I Ausf. A

Those b!st!rds. If you can't trust an encyclopedia what can you trust!...
Perhaps someone with primary references or books based solely on that?

In any case, I did edit my response as the author has a bibliography but doesn't state what came from where in the article.

The M22 Locust also had this idler arrangement and I don't see the steering issues mentioned (click here to see a list of YouTube videos on the M22 Locust):

I really like the smaller tracked vehicles.
Idk, the M3 & M5 Stuart both had a similar arrangement as well, right?

Ok, looking at Saul's great pics of the suspension I noticed the kit didn't have any nuts on the long bolts holding the leafspring packs. Again I used my super sculpey nut & bolt casting to add them.

Next up is the tracks. Takom out did themselves with these. The links are flawless, crisp with no flash. Plus they are put together like the real ones were.
I watched a video of an Australian tank museum trying to beat the 80+ yr old rusted pins out of the links of a Panzer I they were restoring 😜

It's looking good so far, even without my readers! :good:
What a shame it would be to glue all that cool, scale articulation up solid.
Your model, your choice.

I hear ya. It will live on a base under glass anyway. Even though the kit's suspension is designed to work it's all a bit loose for my liking. I'd rather have it tight with straight looking wheels.
