Thanks Paddy, yeah it got rough. Today was a good recharge day and tomorrow will be better. Chicken wings and a football game I could care less about. :rotf

Yeah, my brother is "the" IT guy at Ft Leavenworth KS. He has stories about idiot officers doing stupid stuff. I have been bit a couple of times, but managed to defeat the stuff. Anymore, I double check things. One of the worst being someone sending an e-mail about your $1000 order with Amazon or whatever is ready to ship. Then they give a link to check on it.
Right ..... NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!! click that link.
I go to my bookmarks and go to the site directly and check. Many times the email has all the clues you need to know it is a phishing expedition.

There's a football game? Shows how much I give a sh!t about football these days.

Hearing aids, yeah, I could use one in the left ear. Right ear is a different matter. I have a birth defect where one of the 3 bones touches against the side of the area and seriously muffles sound in the right ear. When I was 7 they did two surgeries. The first was they thought there was too much wax production and it tended to fill my ear. Still a slight problem but manageable. The second they discovered the defect and placed something that shifted the bone enough so that it worked properly. The comment the doctor made to my parents was it could last 6 hours or 60 years. It didn't make 60 years. Though occasionally after some work and exertion the bone breaks loose and the amplifier is on in that ear for a few seconds.
I need another surgery on it but doctors any more are effing jackwads and won't listen. They say get some hearing aids, but in that ear one won't hardly work due to the defect.

WOW Boss!! That is just crazy the work you have to do because some people can’t seem to follow simple instructions. Bit it good seeing back at the bench. I guess it’s time you and I did some lunch here soon.

I don't see why not this coming week, expect text.

Also...I found my bridge! We're going to try and take some pictures today.

I spotted an old bridge that has collapsed. Thought it looks the part what I want the Lee to be hanging off.

Hard to make out, looks like a solid rock approach. Hard to get good eyeball on this. You can see it from the new bridge, that's in a curve on a road with a 55mph speed limit. I can't find any spots to pull off and take a closer look.

Yes SIR! That Bridge is defiantly made to order. We may have to do a hike in to get some good reference.

Excellent ref pic, perfect subject, MP. Great progress on the figs, too, btw. I think Eric is right, gonna need to do some foot work for better close-up pics of that bridge.

You might be wondering where's Bob been and why no updates.
Well all hell broke loose at work. I worked everyday since Jan 6, in that was a trip to Texas and one to Norcross GA, that was just a day trip. Most of the days working were clocking in 14-16 hour days. Why would I do that? Because some "user" can't be bothered with following basic internet security and they let a "threat actor" into our network and they wrecked us. We've been cleaning up the mess and got it contained but it's been painful. In the process I was granted more and more rights and roles to do more work in our environment, I kinda fear now that genie is out of the bottle I'll have more work daily to do.
We have the threat cleaned up for the most part, restoring servers or building new from backups. We did have a sound disaster recovery plan in place but still find WTF cases we just work though.
The big bosses, to their credit, mandated all teams take the weekend off since we have stability and things "look" normal now. So I'm going to get out and get some sunshine, fresh air and probably find some yard work to do.
Also during this time, I got hearing aids! Some of y'all know the struggle I've had for years not being able to hear, well frankly much of anything. It was kinda of a running joke but now I have aids that show me what I"ve been missing, it's really no joke.

So here's where I left off. I did get a black base on my dudes and trying a couple of techniques to get started.

Mission models OD and tamiya khaki for the jackets. I'm not sure about the colors, didn't have time to do any research. just needed a little break a couple of days but those breaks didn't last long.

@AndyFettes you want to paint some figures with me?
Mate, I would if I could just started a new job so time is lacking at the moment
