Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Thanks for the link Peter! It is always interesting and can be enlightening to watch programs from other countries. I watched part of episode 1 while waiting to get my hair cut. Will download all four episodes and then the Night Swallows episode (further down the list) One person posted below that the actual name should have translated The Fighters, which makes more sense.
The effects and sets were decent enough. Well worth the watch.

You're very welcome.

Sometimes it's worth watching something even if they use models. From these series I sure got a lot of ideas for painting uniforms, accoutrements, weapons and vehicles. I also got qa lot of ideas for dioramas or vignette scenery.

THE ATTACKERS has 12 episodes not 4. THE ATTACKERS THE LAST FIGHT has 12 episodes and NIGHT SWALLOWS has 8 episodes.

Cheers

Last couple of days in Europe now, back in NZ on Thu just ahead of my birthday which I'll miss this year through jet-lag  .

No matter whilst here I've stocked-up on AK Extreme Metal paint, 'liquid reamer' and one or two kits...

A RoG Ferrari laFerrari, a HobbyBoss A-6A Intruder and my current 'Holy Grail' kit, a Hasegawa B-26 Marauder. Already sent the kits back to NZ by Deutsche Post as its so much easier not to mention cheap. That said we're going to (historic) Trier this afternoon which just happens to have one of the biggest toy shops in Germany...

Does anyone besides MENG offer a REASONABLY accurate T-54 kit in styrene? I'd like to get one but don't want to pay a fortune or have to fiddle with a lot of PE stuff.

Cheers

Meng doesn't make one, unless I missed it. I think there are some older kits out there but the new T-54 by Miniart is new and from what I have read it looks to be awesome. Looking Trumpeter made one but it was from years ago and I cant vouch for accuracy. Skif makes one also but I have not heard much good from them except as challenging. And I guess Takom is making one also. I have their T-55 kits and they are not bad.

OOPS! My bad; it was the Mini Art T-54 upthread that I was thinking of. Too bad there's 105 PE parts in i tas otherwise I'd be VERY interested in getting one.

There must be something in the way the box is dented at MiniArt because the first time I saw it I swore it was a MENG kit too.
