There was one Ju52/1m flown by Canadian Airways as CF-ARM until 1941, Canadian Pacific Airline operated it until 1943. A Spanish built Ju52/3 was purchased and modified to the single engine version and is on display at the Western Canada Aviation Museum in Winnipeg.

Well, I am purposely not going online so as dedicate time and energy to other aspects of my Life that need attending to. However, I have not forsaken you guys and gals.

I will try to sign in once a week to get updates. Now, here is my update.

From Eduard.com:

EduardMiGStuff.JPG

Two MiG-21PFM Overtrees (this now makes three sets but I did trade sprues for an MF but a Soap Opera develops there).

EduardspitfireStuff.JPG

One set of goodies for the Eduard Spitfire Mk IX Overtrees I bought. The next set of goodies will be from another company (just in case I want to compare or even write a review).

Next sets are from my eBay seller in Hong Kong:

For my Trumpeter T-90 (yes, it is for the Meng kit but I will see what fits), AFV Club Stuarts that I have left over, and Dragon's Jagdtiger which I couldn't sell so will now keep:

When the mailman came with a small package from his car, I jokingly asked if he needed a hand cart. He smiled and rolled up the back of his truck and produced a HUGE box with the following ten kits, a gift from the owner of TMD:

Shalom.

I was able to get some Tamiya accesory sets to go with my Hobbycraft M1A1.

I got the 35133 U.S. modern Army Infantry and the 35266 Modern U.S. Military Equipment.

Here's the Military Equipment. You get two identical parts trees. Left one is the back the right side is the front.

I wanted the ration boxes and the foam sleeping pads. Here's one from my other set. I've drilled a hole lengthwise through it because it's going on an unusual spot.

Here are the U.S. Modern Army Infantry figures and gear.

With these sets and the 35141 Tamiya Modern U.S. Accessory Set with the tank ammo I'm all set to complete my M1A1.

Cheers from Peter

Shalom Adam.

Here's a closeup of the ration boxes in the Tamiya 35266 set.

I don't know what era they're from. I thought perhaps Desert Storm?

The second figure from the left might look strange, being a Wehrmacht soldier and using the Waffen-SS pea dot jacket.
There is however a photo with him existing, could be on the Eastern front.

Oops, the Eduard envelope on the right has two sets in it, the Landing Flaps and Surface Panels.

KPSu22M4RBox.JPG

Checking the inside of the box, I came across a large Ziploc bag with several smaller ones inside with a full set of TMD landing flaps, slats, and other resin details! I sure wish The New TMD continued with the set of resin super-detailed Soviet weapons which they started! I may be the only recipient of the test shots.

asking coyly... No one would be interested in photos of these.

To go along with the Malta Spitfires book I got last month, I now have the Hobby Boss 1/32 Spitfire Vb Trop, complete with it's riveted/fabric stabilizers.

I've got custom masks coming from Ad Astra Masks to build AB264, one of the aircraft W/C Robert "Buck" McNair flew with 249 Sqn on Malta Feb-Jun 1942.

Still need to get the corrected stabilizers and some other bits to finish tricking it out.

Cheers,
Rich

Shalom.

You mean that a model like that still comes with incorrect stabilizers? Or is it just that they are wrong for the particular aircrat you're going to build?

Cheers from Peter

For some reason known only to the modelling gods, the upper surface of each stabilizer half is portrayed as fabric covered. Quickboost makes resin replacement stabilizers.

I built that kit a couple of months back and I think it is a real good build. There always seem to be something wrong with the HB kits anyway. I just wish they would produce something really nice for a good dollar.
