Shalom James.

Interesting set of German figures. I've never heard of that company. Are they styrene? Good quality?

Is that a FEMALE with the flame thrower gear? If it is and if it looks like the boxart , then I have a great use for that figure. Are they still available?

Thanks and cheers from Peter

Shalom James.

Just searched Google images for the set. VERY NICE! Styrene and nice detail. I'll have to see about getting a set for that female figure.

Unless you want to part with that figure, James?

Thanks for posting the image of that set.

Cheers from Peter

Hi Peter. They look pretty nice. Supposed to be from a game. Jog my memory this weekend and I'll send her off to you. She and the other fellow are wearing jump jets from the article in the box. I'll scan it for you. I saw this once before and never got it. Then one of my favorite figure shops on ebay had it and I saw the 1946 campaign and figured it would fit.

I found some sprue shots of them on the web and they do look very good. I've sent you a PM.

Thanks again and cheers from Peter

Nice Rich. There was a wooden former out for the Vigilante that really improved the structural stability and helped prevent the fuse splitting. Not sure if its still available.

Yeah I read that it is a required extra to square up the fuselage seam along the back. It seems to still be available from Nautilus.

Just ordered it from them. Lots of ship builder resin, brass and micro-thin wood decking, Nautilus Models.

Cheers,
Rich

Shalom.

When I was wanting to create interior engine bay parts for my 1/48 scale Avro CF-100 Cannuck I made a plug of plaster of paris by filling tthe areas with the plaster. I then simply cut the plaster into the cross-sections I required to make the styrene templates from.

To go along with the Malta Spitfires book I got last month, I now have the Hobby Boss 1/32 Spitfire Vb Trop, complete with it's riveted/fabric stabilizers.

I've got custom masks coming from Ad Astra Masks to build AB264, one of the aircraft W/C Robert "Buck" McNair flew with 249 Sqn on Malta Feb-Jun 1942.

Still need to get the corrected stabilizers and some other bits to finish tricking it out.

Cheers,
Rich

Like it. I have the "regular one"' Wish it had clipped wings like with yours. Can you swap wings with these two kits Nmmm?.......Harv

The Trop has the full span wings and the clipped wing caps to be installed after cutting off the tips.
The plane I'm building uses the full span wings, I can send you the caps if you like.

Rich
