Shalom James.

How do the Rich Mills Bombs look?

Is that a 3" British mortar in that Rich set?

What are those 9 British Ammo Boxes for ammunition wise?

Finally, we're getting some decent Commonwealth accessories and figures in styrene. The long night of waiting is over!

What scale is your Athenian Hoplite?

Did you know that the decal for the shield in the MiniArt athenian hoplite is identical to the design on tyhe shield of the Spartan monument?

I hope my MiniArt Spartan Hoplite gets here soon as it's been a year less a month since i orered it.

Cheers rom Peter

Hi Peter. All the parts are very crisp and well portrayed. The grenades are super tiny. I believe its a 2" and 3" mortar. As for the ammo boxes, I dont know. Will have to research them a bit. Nothing on the box to give an idea either. The Hoplite is a brand new figure by Historica in 75mm. Its a gorgeous sculpt and casting.

The DML M48A3 does look very nice, not sure how I feel about them molding in the storage bin handles.

Not much kit buying for me until I work through the stash, but tools are something else.

The new member of my bench:

Got a few more over the last little while to add to the stash.

This one from the LHS, still not a cheap kit but I figured I'd pay as much as I did locally to ship it here.

This He111 from Ebay

and some rather large resin floats and trolleys for future projects from Master X resin and MDC.

I don't think they were Taunt jus James, I believe they were Junkers W 34 (someone please correct me if I am wrong).

They still have one preserved in the Canadian aviation museum in Ottawa (this would be one of the kits on my wish list).

There was one Ju52/1m flown by Canadian Airways as CF-ARM until 1941, Canadian Pacific Airline operated it until 1943. A Spanish built Ju52/3 was purchased and modified to the single engine version and is on display at the Western Canada Aviation Museum in Winnipeg.
