Heinkel HE 111 H20

Thanks guys. Sort of stalled out today. :bang head

Trying to find some drawings or pictures for the turret interior :S . Might have to fake it.

Cheers, Christian B)

I'm very sure you can Christian ... your work is way out there ... and even if it wasn't right, I'm sure it would look good ... :good:

Hate to disappoint Gerry . I'm pretty fair at copying what I see.

Not much good at pulling it from thin air :idonno

Thanks for the help . I was able to post a question on the first link.

The expertens are not taking any new members and that seems to be what it takes to even do that. Guess that's what you get with experts... ( snobs ! )

If you can't find turret info looking under He 111H-20, the He 177 (and possibly a variant of the FW 200) used the same dorsal turret. It was known as an EDL 131 turret.

Cheers,
Rich

I went digging and found the JU188 also used the EDL 131 Turret. Found a not so great pic of the installation on a Ju188.

A cut away drawing.

And a pic from the AIMS 1/32 Ju188 conversion set.

Hope it helps.

There is a lot of technical stuff listed in book and internet but the model # of the turret is not something that jumps out at you.
Lots of good pictures of the MG 131 though.

I think the diagram and the kit picture will go a long way to building one . Thank you :good:

Got another place to check :soldier

Thanks James and Andy for your interest. Hopefully will have some time tomorrow to attempt making one.
