Only problem I have with the "What's New" is that there are usually more threads that have new posts than show up without clicking the "View More" button. If it would show another 5 threads I would be happy with it.

Does anything in this say it's NOT 1917? I don't want some jackleg coming around and saying "Those are 88mm ammo crates"...(which they are but shhh).

Yet, they ARE 88mm ammunition crates! I can see oil cans thanks to the engine but what are the reasons for other crates on the taxiway? Makeshift table to work on something?

As for ammunition boxes, I can't check these links on eBay (from work) but the Spandau 08/15 was used after the war. If these boxes are from The Great War, you might be able to rustle up some using WWII boxes.

Box 1 which looks like US 30 Cal box

Box 2 which seems identical to WWII German 7.92

After 4 years of waiting I pick this back up, going for a completed base for a change.

I got a Anthony Fokker figure and a camera on a tripod somewhere. I may have that photo in this thread but there was a photo session with the Baron, Gering, Fokker and some others. thought I'd try to replicate that. Going diving into my boxes this afternoon.

Oh in case you're wondering what I did here, the base is fixed to the frame now.

Found the camera, a fuel pump and the frame of a DR1 rudder, why I have that I don't know but I still can't find that Fokker!

Aircraft is done Paul. I had kind of thought that I'd display one of the Dr1 in red also. My thinking at the time was that both these aircraft could have existed on the field at the same time.
