Very nice work Mike!

I'm about to start this same kit with the same Eduard PE, and I've never built a plane before!

Did you use the Eduard for the seat belts? They look great!

Looking forward to more progress.

Hi Tom

The kit is easy to build and Tamiya is a warranty of good kits. I have added some details in cockpit, for example the various wires. I don't use the eduard's seat, but I preferred the tamiya option. I don't like the pins extractor on wheels bay. Now I building the central section of wings. I don't know if there are new problem in future, I hope nothing.

Hi Mike

Thanks for the info!

I was curious if you used the Eduard Photo-Etch for the seat belts
or some other brand?

Thanks again
Tom

Lots of options for the seatbelts Tom. I don't like the PE seat belts much, especially the pre painted ones because by the time you bend and shape it, you crack or peal paint.

http://www.radubstore.com/ RP Productions has some great belts but I don't see any in 1:48. Anyone else know if something in 1:48 or smaller?

Sorry Tom for my incomplete response.
The seat belts are from the Eduard Pe , I paint it with Vallejo acrilic paint and finish with olis paint.
For me the no paint Pe version are more easy to use.
Mike

Thanks Mike

I think I will give them a try, since I already have the set...they look really good.

I'm too late to chip in, but I have found the Finemolds seat belts to be very nice to work with. They are a soft plastic. Found some here http://www.hlj.com/product/FNMNC-04/Air

I have a question for airplane modelers: I will paint the "White 20" with Tamiya and Gunze acrilic paints, and I will make a very hard weatering on surface.
What color was used for primer on external surface? The salmon as the interiors or another paint?
Mumble ....mumble... :hmmm

Thank's for your suggestions.... :good:
