My plan is to do post shading over the rivet lines, post fading inside, going to try to make it slight.

It'll be fun painting that's for sure. :pilot

Do those rivets stand proud Bob? Do you like the effect?
James

I would not say proud. On the upper wings I installed them over primer beore I painted, you can see a slight shadow of them there with the Model Master paint, the Vallejo seems to be thicker and they disappear under it.

There's a lot that can be improved before I say I like it. So far I have not run into the carrier film separating again. I have both sides finished now. :blink

There's enough free lines that I can go back and do parts that were damaged.

Correct, 1:32.

Warren doing free line dry rivets is going to be tedious at best. Maybe use them only in spots you want to show wear and weathering.

I'm done with the base colors. I'm going to seal coat it and start decals and weathering. Think I'm going to switch to Tamiya colors, I tried to mix some RLM74 and black to do some post shading and just had a hell of a time keeping the tip wet, even with Vallejo's retarder and thinner.

Also I soldered a couple of hinges for the rudder. Plastic parts have broken off...I'll get a picture of how things stand tomorrow.
