I would Ian if I could get the junk to spray consistently. Tired of battling Vallejo.
Fine looking bird if you ask me.
Vallejo - no problems with it, other than the white. No matter how much I tried and what, it's still spraying noodles, stupid cow of a thing. Desert yellow works well if diluted, all other paints no issues.
The primers are fine too - except for, again, the white. This time around it looks too watery to me. Black and grey are perfect.

At the risk of hi-jacking Bob's thread - what are folks experiences of AK paints... they're easy to get here so I'm thinking about buying some in ??
Ian.
Well Bob I'll share a bit of a secret with you. All color pigments are of different size . Apparently white is a bad size for you .
Have you tried another white paint ? I always thought that Humbrol had the finest of pigments.
Cheers, Christian B)

I haven't had trouble with white but I'm sure Laurence appreciates your suggestion. :tomato

Ian - I've used a few of the AK paints and been using a lot of the Ammo by MIG paints, which I believe are the same as the AK paints since Mig Jimenez was one of the founders of AK, before being forced out (at least that's the story Mig tells). Some of the colors i question the accuracy of, but the key to these paints is to thin them about 50/50 and spray thin layers not trying to completely cover in one pass. I've had good luck so far. If you are referring to the AK Real Color line, i have bought a few but haven't used them yet. They are supposed to behave like Tamiya paints.
Sorry to hi-jack Bob. The G-6 is coming along great!
