Bf-109 D

Okay just a small update. Havent accomplished much lately.

First off used Mr Mask and painted the coloured bits of the instrument panel and painted it black as it should be. Then instruments got a couple of coats of future.

Not great but better.

Started picking out some detail on sidewalls and also masked and wrong coloured pe and painted it RLM 02 as per my pics.

Sanded off the little bumps and added the three red handles.

Made Radubs belts. Love them, but tedious. I have to make another set for my HS-123 next.

I think they look better than the PE.
So any comments critiques what have you are most welcomed.

Very nice James. Belts look very realistic if not too neat. My experience with pilots is that they never leave them like that. Seems this is the way they are always displayed though.

I dont know how they would have been left. I have seen some with the belts outside for quick ingress. On all the a/c I've worked on we always tidy up the belts when all is done. Less chance of them binding somewhere and look neater.

Must be a CAF thing...:mpup

Where does one fine these belts? How about adding them to our weblinks James.

That's progressing very nicely, James! Excellent work!! Saul never ceases to amaze me with the references he comes up with! :notworthy

Just saying.

Checking it out now James, oddly the shopping cart keeps getting stuff dropped in it...

I cant imagine what would cause that MP. :hmmm

Maybe its the mouse shopping cart interface. Try clenching you hand into a fist and moving the mouse that way. The clenched fist would prevent the interfaces synaptic twitching of the left key digit there by preventing a closing of the left key switch causing 1s and 0s from entering the data stream and arbitrarily incrementing the basket. Or you could 01010011 01110100 01101111 01110000 00100000 01100001 01100100 01100100 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 01110010 00100000 01100011 01100001 01110010 01110100 00101110 00100000 01000010 01110101 01110100 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100001 01110100 00100000 01110111 01101111 01110101 01101100 01100100 00100000 01100010 01100101 00100000 01101110 01101111 00100000 01100110 01110101 01101110 00100000 01001100 01001111 01001100 00101110

Now cut that out!!!

I remember where I saw this guy before, he's the one with the stream line wires for the ww1 stuff.

I Gotha find out why the Badger was badgered (punny, no?) into leaving the bomber he showed... was it a henchman a damsel, or a combination?
Henschel? 1, 2, 3... Henschel 123

Yes, I am a parody of myself.

Retards,

Wow :woohoo: I'm being torn

Okay I was egged on and I gotha tell you it didnt take much egging. Now your being persuasive too Saul so hows about I work real hard to finish my 109 D. Then I pull out the 123 and in between paint drying periods I build it as well.

Hopefully everyone will be happy with that compromise.
I guess this means I should stop surfing and start working huh?

James

Okay did more work. Fuse together and cockpit washed and touched up. Tomorrow or tonight it is the joining of the forward and aft fuse.

You gotha be kidding me...you gotha thata mucha done today???

Well the nose isnt glued on, but rear fuse is glued. Will sand and fill wherever. Then have to get the nose on. Then the fun part, modding the wing.

Seems I got talked into some big projects in short order so may as well clear the bench properly.

I'm going to guess that the new build is now a well known secret huh?
