Good progress so far, I like the wood box side. Sorry about the firebox; I'm sure you'll have no problem replacing it. Maybe you could use a hair dryer on high to soften it around the boiler.

Thanks Mark I shouldn't have used a Bic lighter you just can't control the Heat … It's taken Me along time to master painting the wood …. It's fairly easy … Since I'm a carpenter working with Bass wood is very enjoyable …. Stay tuned …. lots to do before Plano Fall Train Show Show …. :train
