55 Chevy Bel Air Convertible

hey guys, here is my next project.

got started with the engine. ran a a couple lines, fuel and oil. will work on the plug wires next. also the spots for the heater hoses are drilled out, i will add those in later on.

I didn't worry about detailing the Carb, since the air filter will be covering that up!

thanks guys! yes going for a period type look factory stock.
for the weathering I just mix up pastel chalk with water and brush on a few layers then wipe the extra off with a q-tip

I got the rest of the parts on the engine. also painted up the radiator.

Nice clean work as usual SS.

I'm anxious to see the color combo you choose.

Nice tidy work space too, maybe that's why you get so many models done...and I don't. :hmmm
