21cm Morser and bunker

The bunker still drying out ,
The yellow orange stuff is balsa foam ....took most off out it out with a sculpting tool and the rest will be brushed out .....with a stiff old pigs hair paintbrush .
( so no the damage the plaster )

Still have to make a floor and a small wall to go in front of the bunker
(don't know the English word for it  )

Voids you mean air bubbles ?

Before i pour the plaster, i rinse out the mould with soapy water..... works every time (y)

(y) (y) Very nice Piet! I use to work with pouring moulds for ceramics & did the same thing. Once poured, I'd tap the side of the mould to release air bubbles.

Looks great, will be something to see all weathered up. The English word for that, think it's the "wall in front of the door"? :facepalm :tomato

Excellent looking bunker Piet, your a plaster master, nice pour & I might say in the carpenter world We would call it a pony wall. (y) :popcorn

Fantastic scratch work Piet (as usual)- you absolutely blitz the construction.
And thanks for the look at the new WW1 howitzer as I was thinking of getting one of these.

Ian.
