Thanks Eagle!Your build is looking excellent so far. This is the process with these old kits. They can be built up to a high standard, but it does take a LOT of work. Keep it up! You will have something worth while when done!

The windows still need work. I'll git 'em though. The pic also shows the difference thickening the hull made to the gun deck. I think the work it took was worth it. The still black area in the gun port openings was the kit's thickness.Working on cleaning up the flashing on the Quarter Gallery windows. On my kit some were completely covered. The painting sold several years ago, and I guess I don't have a pic of the whole painting, just a couple of detail shots.Another artist! Outstanding Tim. Texture of the painting looks like sail cloth.
