Junkers J.1 Wingnut Wing

Tedious!

I'm going to paint the brass tube and the head of the plug black, or rubber or whatever. the wires will be white probably. The wires run in up in the shroud and back to the magneto but i'm not going that far. just going to have some wires out of the mag into the shroud and tuck the wire from the plug into the shroud. Actually got all but one finished on port side. :pilot

The great thing about all this detail work is the you feel the rest of the kit warrants it with WnW.
Also most of it is seen., top job Pup :)

Progress by god!

The sparkplug wires actually has some color on them, maybe another coat but next up is the intake manifold, engine mounts and start working on the wings and stuff. :pilot

I"m calling the motor done. I could add some gas lines but from what I can tell it's below the line of sight once the engine is installed. I grabbed some brass bits to build up carb linkage and control rods. Yeah I see that big gap on the flange around the prop shaft, not worried about it, won't see it when done besides, it my be an expansion joint.... :dude:
