Thanks for the support guys.
I got it primed and shot my first coat of aluminum. I am pleased so far with the results but there are a few spots that will need some attention, like the underside, where I found a couple of errant mustache hairs, how they got there I haven't a clue. :idonno :idonno

I am getting close to done on this thing. I goofed and put the bar and star on before I did the stripes. No biggie though.

I thought that the decals on the nose would be easy but again I am wrong,it has to be split length ways so it will be easier to fit around the exhausts.

These Kits world decals respond really well to solvents and I think they are a good buy.

Good to hear the decals are working out. Considering the fight you've put up it doesnt look like its been a pain. Its turned out really really well. Nicely done Paul (y) (y) (y) (y) (y) (y) (y) (y) (y)

You definitely got it looking much better Paul . I would have thought their kits would fit together better than what I just saw.

Good looking gear though .

Cheers, Christian B)

Here it is minus the stripes but they are still in the mail. I have yet to ad the aerial and other sundry antennas but as far as I am concerned this is done. none of my washes would settle into the panel lines so I tried some post shading which kind of makes this look as if it were stainless steel. Next Mustang I do it will be the Tamiya one.
