WIP Double Duty

Mike I hear you, lets blame it on the weather and the cabin fever.

Laura the sheet metal is pretty thin for the fenders, handle with care so they stay flat while you attach the separate fender edge skirts. Voyager could have made them all one piece but for some reason decided on two.

Might not get much done today.Catherine went shopping before the next possible snow storm and i'm puppy sitting right now.:mpup

Tony Lee:)

This will be short, watching the play off game.

PE fenders look like they will work out just fine so I cut the plastic fenders off. Built the gun breech and base while watching some tv today.

I hope your team wins

If you like the color of BRASS you would fall in love with these workable hinges for the mud flaps.(y)

Wonder if the wife has any of her nerve pills left over?:hmmm
Tony Lee:)

you know you could make a nice little chunk of change doing that. Tony's PE hinges.

how do you secure the hinges when folding and rolling?

that's great work on the fenders tony! did you solder them?

i remember that there's a little stub in the gun mount to be cut away or your barrel will be crooked to the right side! watch out when you get there!

Pup,next time I fold a hinge i'll take pics and show you guys how I do it.

I just went and looked at the gun and base,it's looks square and level. Either I accidentally fixed the problem during construction or I haven't gotten that far yet.:idonno
Maybe you're talking about the barrel and mantle? Thanks for the heads up anyway Laura.

Tony Lee

OK got ya Lady btw i've got the Armor Scale barrel set for it.
I forgot to answer your question from above. I used Gator Grip Glue this time since the fenders are so light weight.B)

Tony Lee:)
