You're right Tony . No one has said that but I'm still trying to find a practical purpose for those extra beams and wheels :hmmm
 
The turret can be removed and placed on a steel beam pallet as a pill box.
The wheels can be attached on the sides of the turret for towing.

Well now, that's intriguing :eek:hmy:

I know I have seen picture of WW II gun emplacements that looked like Sherman tank turrets at access points leading to towns .

I agree with the previous post. It seems that a trailer would been a better use of resources .

Oh well, the Germans loved their tanks ! Still do :soldier
