Tamiya Hanomag Sdkfz251 : Tracks on!

Wow! That keeps getting better and better! :drinks

Tamiya Hanomag Sdkfz251 - Mud.

Be careful with that clear coat, it'll eat right though everything. It looks sharp Bill, and the figure, nailed it! :popcorn

I use Dulcote all the time with no ill effects. Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis? :idonno

It's lacquer, I had it attack a finish once, but then again it might be my failure to label the shot glasses of thinner.

Head shake and an eye roll. :facepalm

Lookin' good, Bill!

Bob, I wouldn’t think of brushing it. I always spray it heavily thinned. ‘Cause its lacquer, it dries extremely quickly, so no problem (so far).

Well, lets call it done. I added the width indicator poles and rear gun piviot (which have been stored out of harms way for the duration of the build). The poles are too wide. I should have fabricated new ones out of wire.

Thanks for looking. Thanks for all the nice comments.

Cheers,

Bill

Here are a couple of shots on a light background. It always looks a little different with a different back drop.
Same camera, and same lighting set up.

I like this build very much! The colors, the camo, the weathering, all very well done on a less than perfect kit. You did yourself proud, Bill! (y) :drinks

Thanks, Mike!
Thanks, Helios!
Thanks, razordws!
Thanks, Thanks, Bob

Thanks again, to everyone who looked and to all of you who commented. Special thanks to brb for the tracks.

It looks like we are about finished looking at this. Here are a couple more parting shots.
(… And now to figure out what to do next. Finish up the elephant, I think…) :hmmm

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone. :drool

Cheers,

Bill
