Don't look too bad. What are you using for a wash? I use oil paint thinned with mineral spirits.

No idea but i don't think so, simple to use straight from the bottle but i have oils to but a little afraid of using them :/ what do you thin them with? white spirit?

MIG WASHES are ENAMEL type washes.
I use them often, they are pretty nice to work with! They are rather similar to oil washes.
[on the instuctions on the bottle it is stated:We recommend you use TAMIYA or VALLEJO colored acrylics.]

Greetings,Ron.

I suppose you gave up on the hair spray but it still has eye appeal. (y)

Re: LRDG chevrolet and Quad with 6 pdr. gun by Bagge

Thanks guys! :)
Tony, there is still hairspray under there somewhere.... just didn't get the paint off hahaha
maybe i sprayed to thin or let the paint dry to long i don't know.
But with the wash and the pigments it's turning out ok anyway i think :)

Re: LRDG chevrolet and Quad with 6 pdr. gun by Bagge

Have you tried lightly scratching the surface? It will let the water get in under the paint to the hairspray and the paint will lift.

I wouldn't do it now but if the problem happens again try it.
