Noel, at least you will get a pair of shoes out of it. At the time I wasn't in the market for shoes so had to go around to shoe stores and try & explain what I wanted also have you ever seen the look on a shoe shop person when you tell them you want to make a tarpaulin for a vehicle with the paper.... :blink

The tarp turned out very nice (y)

I have used the paper/foil liners in cigarette packs for tarps and folded blankets etc. Not sure what kind of shoes your looking at but I'll almost bet a carton of smokes for a supply of blanket material cost more :lol:
