Markings are on and turret is ready for final weathering. Now I can set this aside and finish up the lower part of the tank.

Transporting seems practical , although it does not appear that the barrel overhang would be any different in the rear position.

What do I know......I was Air Force and those crazy people would use wing walkers on a UH-1 when the blade was secured in the fore/aft position :rotf

Seeing that picture, it seems t fit on the transporter better.

My problem is that I usually think of driving the tank to where it is needed. Not so true in real life applications.

Sometimes moving a tank by truck or train can get where you need to be faster than driving the tank there.

Well yes . Sometimes we loaded them in airplanes for airdrops . Long , long ago and much smaller !

Yeah and they were real gas hogs. Dad said fuel consumption was about 5 gal. to the mile. The rule was never pass up a fuel truck.
