I don't think using a Sharpe will be too much of a problem. Don't plan of taking it outside plus the house windows are tinted. It's call modeling on the cheap.
The hull, turret and tracks got muddied up and some work done on the figures. The 50 cal. gun is done too. Gary S
 
Not to highjack the thread about lightfast materials, but we do want our art to last. Krylon and Winsor Newton make spray varnish with UV blockers. Look for the word Archival on the label. Krylon's actually says "UV Resistant Clear" right on the can.
Does the UV Krylan come in a clear flat ?
 
they do have a clear flat but I don't see anything about UV block on it. Maybe it's in the details on the label.
Krylon only offers their UV resistant clear coats in gloss or matte. Nothing stops the end user from waiting for the clear coat to cure, thereby protecting the ink, before adding another (and dead flat or high gloss) finish coat from their favorite brand.
